Adding a little warmth with a nice fire.
Being on my feet all day and constantly, lugging gear and equipment I would consider myself in pretty good shape. Then I carried my camera, tripod and 2 light stands up 5 flights of stairs. Needless to say I was pretty winded.
Im normally not a fan of black cabinets (probably because they are one of the hardest types of kitchens to shoot) but I really loved how elegant and classy this one looked.
Hey, its not first place, but coming in tied for second is a huge achievement ! Every month the website photographyforrealestate.net holds a contest that showcases the best real estate photos from around the world. The images that get entered are from photographers all over the globe and are literally the best of the best when it comes to residential interiors. Each month there is a different theme with intense competition. This month there was a total of 53 amazing photographs. Larry Lohrman, who runs the website, recently said that "just getting points in the contest puts you in the top few percent of shooters on the entire planet"
Below is my image from this months twilight theme. I created this image using multiply lighting and photoshop techniques, as well as literally painting light on the house with strobe flashes. |
